James Stallons Biography

James Stallons Biography - Wisconsin Badgers James Stallons BiographyJames Stallons was the first quarterback to the commit to the University of Wisconsin's 2007 class. James Stallons is a pure pocket passer who runs a shotgun, spread attack at Dakota High School in Macomb, Mich.

Evaluation: James Stallons is a Midwest late-bloomer with fantastic height and a strong right arm. James Stallons reminds us of Wisconsin's last few quarterbacks - tall, lanky and better passers than they are given credit for. He is extremely lean and must add significant bulk and strength. James Stallons is a classic drop-back passer who shows great drop speed and smoothness and is very effective on five- and seven-step drops. Gains great depth, can see the enitre field and does a great job of working through progressions. James Stallons has a good arm and is most effective on intermediate routes. James Stallons timing is excellent and is set and balanced when delivering the ball. Can hit the deep comeback and skinny post and does an adequate job pushing the ball vertically. Shows excellent touch in the red area. Shows good RPMs on underneath throws and is extremely accurate when set. Throws a very catchable ball. However, James Stallons is strictly a pocket passer. James Stallons will not create a lot on his own. James Stallons tends to cup the ball in his delivery and has a long release at times. Other times he is a quick-strike guy -- needs to be more consistent with his mechanics. Overall, James Stallons has a chance to really develop if in the right offense. James Stallons best football is definitely ahead of him.

James Stallons Bio in High School:

As a Junior in High school, James Stallons completed 57% of his passes for 2200 yards during his junior season. James Stallons connected for 18 touchdowns with just seven interceptions. . James Stallons' starting to open some eyes early this summer at various combines. James Stallons needs to add weight but has outstanding mechanics. From ESPN Recruiting: “A Midwest late-bloomer with fantastic height and a strong right arm. James Stallons reminds us of Wisconsin's last few quarterbacks - tall, lanky and better passers” Scout.com, as of 12.17.05, has James Stallons rated as one of the top 25 (#21) overall players in the State of Michigan and as the 4th best QB in the State behind Keith Nichol, Justin Siller and Steven Threet with the recruiting evaluation as “Added weight would do him more good than it would for any other player in this class. Probably the most accurate passer in the group.” Michigan is believed to have one of the deepest QB pools in this class as “Nichol, Siller and Threet already have Big Ten offers. D. Grady has MAC offers and Stallons and Cole will get BCS type offers well down the road.” $cout's Top Michigan Players. A 3-sport star who also competes in basketball and baseball. James Stallons considered one of the top QB's in Michigan by Michigan Elite Football.
